Improvisation skills and techniques are broken down into basic concepts and made accessible through games and exercises which are fun, funny and a really good time. Whether you have ever been on a stage or not, or even ever want to be, the core concepts behind improvisation will increase confidence, build a sense of control, improve communication skills, and enhance self-awareness in all areas of life. And, best of all... games.

Sessions will be instructed by professional actors and directors, will operate in an enjoyable, collaborative environment and will be a safe place for all to stretch, exercise and grow.
IMPROV GAMES for TEENS is an opportunity to get professional level training in an informal and fun format. Classes are designed to adapt to the mix of students by allowing individuals to advance at their own pace.

ACTING
THROUGH ANALYSIS
A class for actors and critics

An introduction of core concepts and techniques, moving into character analysis, theory, modern methods, and critical thinking

Find your voice as an actor, or sharpen your skills as a critic in this 6 week breakdown of the art of acting. Starting with basics and continuing on through modern methods and theory, This course provides a foundational exploration into the craft of acting by watching scenes unfold live, as well as comparisons through film and video. Students will break these down and analyze performances using learned criteria and then applying these concepts to their own work. Beginners are welcome but experienced actors will value the opportunity to assess and strengthen skills. Students will achieve a fundamental base of acting techniques and skills through a blend of discussions, observation, performance and film analysis. Classes will be instructed by professional actors and directors, will operate in an enjoyable, collaborative environment and will be a safe place for all to stretch, exercise and grow at their own pace. There is no pre-requisite and all are welcome.

A fun, low-pressure exploration of Improvisational Comedy covering the basics through learning and playing a variety of Improv Games.​
IMPROV COMEDY will benefit the beginner as an easy and enjoyable introduction to improvisational performance.
But, more experienced students will also expand their knowledge in that the instructors will break down the comedic elements of each activity to the base concept and analyze the purpose and effects with the students. Understanding the psychology of humor bolsters confidence and presence on stage. With a better understanding of the structure of performing, the student can allow themselves more freedom for learning and creativity.

but, there are also many real-life opportunities out there if you know where to look. Not only do we here at Monster Box
prefer to cast and work with actors that have trained with us, but, no matter where you go, nothing shows off the work
that we do in our Training Center better than your success. We are proud of our track record, and even more proud of our
past students, so many of which are working all over the country and have made this their career. So, if performing is
