Audition Notice​​ -

The First Round is closed, but... we are not finished.

We had so many great auditions. Thank you all for coming out. 

We are now in the process of making final decisions for these first 3 shows. There are still a couple of openings, and at the same time, we are also preparing for the next round of auditions. Therefore, if you are interested, please do not hesitate to set up an appointment. The sooner we get to know you, the more possibilities there will be.

Sides for cold reads will be provided at the audition. It is also acceptable to

prepare a monologue or bring a side or your own choice, but it is not required.

Please bring a resume if you have one.

Experience is helpful but we will train the right person.​

Monster Box Theatre is a non-profit, professional theatrical organization. 

All actors that perform will be paid a small stipend, determined by the role, etc.

For informational purposes, the following is the original posted info.​

 

We are currently casting the first 3 plays of our upcoming '26/'27 season but also seeking actors

to call back for the remainder of season as well. The first begins in late July. (Rehearsals may

begin as early as June for some shows) All 3 initial plays are original and/or premieres and include...

 

- An interactive/immersive participation comedy

- A suspense/horror drama

- A traditionally staged ensemble comedy​

Although exact performance dates are yet to be announced, they will stage

between July 28th and Nov. 9th.

Casting of all 3 will be decided immediately after the audition process is complete,

and actors can choose to have their data remain to be considered for the remainder of the season

as more auditions unfold.
